Richard Coleman

Richard Coleman is the Managing Director of Culturology and a long-standing contributor to the health and safety profession. With a background in organisational culture, leadership, and behaviour, Richard works with organisations to better understand how work actually gets done, and how that reality shapes safety outcomes.

He has supported a wide range of organisations across high-risk industries, helping leaders move beyond surface-level interventions towards approaches that genuinely influence decision-making, accountability, and performance. His work sits at the intersection of safety, culture, and leadership, where the answers are rarely neat and rarely uncontested.

Returning as Captain after leading his team to victory on the Gold Coast, Richard comes back with a point to prove. Last year wasn’t luck.
